IT’S ALL ABOUT WOMEN – We celebrate International Women’s Day by announcing $12.000 donation to the Ubuntu Life Foundation!

In honor of the International Women’s Day we announce that we have donated more than $12.000 to the Ubuntu Life Foundation over the course of two years. For each Café Ubuntu chocolate bar sold $0.50 we continue to donate to Ubuntu’s health and education programs supporting children with special needs as well as empowering and educating women in Maai Mahiu, Kenya. Café Ubuntu chocolate is made in collaboration with Ubuntu Life Foundation and Allegro Coffee.
 
We are proud of this partnership with the Ubuntu Life foundation. Social responsibility is a core value for Goodio and this partnership is one of the ways we work towards this value on a concrete level.  As a small company, we are of course also very happy with the amount we have been able to donate to the foundation.

Goodio’s Café Ubuntu harmoniously combines Ubuntu’s East African coffee and Ugandan Mountains of Moon cacao. Ubuntu Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating jobs and empowering communities in Kenya.

To celebrate our donation and partnership with Ubuntu Life foundation we are arranging a campaign in Finland. The campaign is seen widely in Goodio’s channels. The main cooperation partner in the campaign is Helsinki based Bassoradio. Influencer Noora Shingler is also Goodio’s partner for the campaign on social media.
 
The campaign is seen on store level in many of Goodio’s accounts. Ruohonjuuri, natural and organic store chain has been Goodio’s partner from the beginning. Campaign is seen in their stores both in Finland and in Sweden. Food Market Herkku Helsinki, Tapiola and Tampere are participating to the campaign. The campaign is ongoing in K-Citymarket Sello, K-Citymarket Kupittaa, K-Supermarket Postitalo, K-Supermarket Grani, K-Supermarket Mustapekka, K-Market Hakaniemen Herkku and Anton & Anton stores & kiosks.
 
Café Ubuntu chocolate is a part of Goodio’s selection and available worldwide from USA to Asia. In the US the product is available in select Whole Foods Market stores and other retailers.
